  Dr.Khalil refused to give a referral to my daughter to her pediatrician that she has been seeing for 10 years or my son who is sleeping seeing the same doctor for 4 years, because he said "It's unnecessary, and the pediatrician was only doing it to get more money from BC medical." I don't work for the College of Physicians but last I heard you needed a referral to go to a specialist. If I could give less than one star I would, never going back.

  If I could give less than one star I would... Dr. Khalil is a complete idiot. Misdiagnosed me twice. When he misdiagnosed me having something I absolutely didn't have and having two other specialists say I don't have it at all. When going through the follow ups and following my leep procedure I told the receptionist that I didn't want to go back to him and to remove my file so they didn't call me anymore and they ignored it. They call me one day and the same girl that ways calls me (sounds nasely) doesn't identify herself when calling (very unprofessional) and says they've booked me an appointment for a follow up procedure. I tell them no its too early and that I'm dealing with my specialist only. They ignore that when I get a call from the specialist saying that someone booked me, I advised them of what happened and she said there's no way you can get this done, it's a month and a half too early. Now that I've gotten the follow up on the right date this office calls me again. Same girl i told before to stop contacting me and that Dr. Khalil keeps misdiagnosing me. She said she had no idea of what was going on and that I talked to someone else. No. I didn't. They're all idiots there and it's amazing they're still open. I'm logging a formal complaint with the government with this practice.. I could have been seriously hurt going in for the procedure as early as they wanted me to.

  They will try to charge you $50 to transfer a chart ... according to the "BCMA Fee Guide". The fee guide DOES NOT list a prescribed fee for chart transfers. They also "shall appreciate prepayment for this" but the College of Physicians and Surgeons notes: "Transferring of information cannot be contingent on getting the fee. To ensure continuity of care, transferring of information to another physician cannot be dependent on receiving payment in advance."
