- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I just want to give a public kudos to Coast Meridian Animal Hospital for their kind, compassionate treatment of my fur baby in May. We had taken my cat to another local vet after 2 weeks of weight loss and weird behavior, which we thought was stress & jealousy because we had a 3 week old baby. They called the next day to deliver a very poor prognosis and in the early evening she took a turn for the worse when she had a seizure. We called that vet office, and they put us on hold to talk to the vet, who said they were going home shortly and they couldn't see us until the next day at 1145. I was very upset by this as we didn't want our cat to suffer unnecessarily. My husband called Coast Meridian Animal Hospital and they squeezed us in within an hour, stayed late to accommodate us, and were very respectful and compassionate as we said goodbye to our kitty. Dr Boretsky was thorough, answered our many questions, and gave us as much time as we needed despite them closing.
